Parramatta City Library Online Tutoring

Students from years 4 to 12 can use this web-based online tutoring service, powered by yourtutor, for help in Maths, Science, General English, Research and Study Skills.
Students participate in a live, one-to-one individual learning session with a tutor using the Online Classroom. The Online Classroom, much like MSN messenger, allows the tutor and student to text chat, share web pages, transfer files and use drawing tools.

What is it?

• Online Tutoring For students in years 4 to 12.
• Available Monday to Friday between 4pm and 8pm.
• Individual learning sessions with a tutor.

Where is it?

• The service is available at the Parramatta City Library
• It can also been accessed from home if you are a library member

How much is it?

• This service is free of charge and is provided by the Parramatta City Library.

Mathematics

• Maths - Yr 4-6 maths
• Maths - Yr 7-10 maths
• Maths - Yr 11-12 General maths
• Maths - Yr 11-12 Intermediate maths
• Maths - Yr 11-12 Specialist/Extension maths

• Essay Writing
• Assignment Research: Finding information, organising reports/assignments, etc.
