What is the purpose of Home Support and Community Services?

Home Support and Community Services, focusing on Parramatta Local Government Area, provides opportunities for older people, people with disabilities and their carers to live as participating citizens with maximum independence and well being.

The Home Support and Community Services Team in considering it's environment and role in the Parramatta Society aim to be recognised as an essential link between community and Council in providing direct services that focus on the social, physical and cultural needs of older people, people with disabilities and their carers.

Home Support and Community Services believe in:

• the right of people to be valued as individuals;

• the right of people to access services on a non-discriminatory basis;
