Better Neighbourhood Program (BNP)

The Better Neighbourhood Program (BNP) is all about regenerating and revitalising Parramatta's Neighbourhood Centres. The BNP is funded through a Special Rates Programme called the Surburban Infrastructure Enhancment Programme.

Through communicating and setting up of partnerships with the local community, local business, State and local government together we can work towards delivering high quality, attractive, distinctive and viable neighbourhood centres, each with a sense of local identity in walkable neighbourhoods supported by an interconnected open space network.

The neighbourhood shopping centres which have been selected for funding under the BNP are:
Telopea- initiated 2001
Guildford -initiated 2002
Ermington - initiated 2002
Epping Revitalisation Project - initiated 2002
Granville- initiated 2003
Harris Park- initiated 2004
