PARRAMATTA SOCIAL PLAN 2001/2-2004/5

The Parramatta Social Plan is an important planning document of Council. It contains the demographic profile of the Parramatta Local Government Area; a needs assessment of the community and a list of recommended actions which enables Council to choose its priority initiatives to include in its Management Plan.

Apart from the information about the broad community, the Social Plan includes information about the needs of 8 target groups:

• Children

• Young People

• Women

• Older People

• People with Disabilities

• Indigenous People

• People from Culturally & Linguistically Diverse Backgrounds

• Men
