NEIGHBOURHOOD PLACE MANAGEMENT

Neighbourhood Place Management is about encouraging people to find ways of talking to each other and Council about things they care about. It is about working together on ideas for your neighbourhood's future. We call this 'place-making'. Place-making helps communities to become empowered.

Council currently has two Neighbourhood Place Managers. They will work closely with the community, service providers and Council to strengthen the community as a whole and build better neighbourhoods.

There is also a Neighbourhood Place Management Brochure, which is a great tool to help explain place management and how it works with and for the community.
