Outdoor Dining Policy

The Parramatta Outdoor Dining Policy November 2003 provides guidance for outdoor dining on Council owned footpaths across the whole Parramatta Local Government Area.

The policy coordinates pedestrian safety and urban design issues by providing details on the permitted locations of outdoor dining, the types of tables, chairs and shade structures encouraged by Council and boundary markers.

If you are considering setting up an outdoor dining area you should read the Outdoor Dining Policy and contact Council's Property Unit who will also provide information about licensing arrangements for the Council owned footpaths.
